No 200. Hart’s Weir Footbridge

This bridge carries a footpath from Northmoor across the river towards the the south and is situated in a fairly remote part of the upper Thames.

The painting shows a group of walkers from Chesham who walked the length of the river in order to raise funds for their local charities.

The village of Northmoor has a 13th centaury church and bell tower with a Tudor rectory and boasts a very small pub called The Dun Cow.
